I enjoyed the book, even though the beginning was a rough go for me. I was debating if I should DNF but I'm glad I didn't. It wasn't as good as I had hoped but still really good. I think I had my hopes too high. 

Much of the family had me ready to shake some of them and why they were such a nuisance but by the end, I was really liking many of them. I loved the mother though. Also a couple of the "children". I will give her other books a try but not going into them expecting too much in hopes that will allow me to enjoy them much more. 

I'm really not giving much information because I really don't want to give too much on the storyline and some of the characters because I don't want to give spoilers. If there's any like me, they don't like even the smallest spoilers. I will just say that it is very much well worth the read. 

I've Been Reading...but....

 I had a rough go of it sometimes this year when it came to reading but when I did , I would be kind of lazy with the reviews on here. I would do some on Goodreads when I had something to say. I won't promise that I won't have my lazy moments when it comes to blogging here because it does take a little bit of an effort to get stuff together. It's not difficult or anything, just a bit of a process getting the books photos saved and then put here. Also copying and pasting the "About the book" part. Again, not hard or anything but sometimes, I just don't feel like it! lol...Laziness! At least on goodreads, they're already there to see all the information they need! 

This has been the best month for me so far. It seems like May or June'ish seems to be pick up months for me or, some of the later months in summer then it slows down again. I just have that slump of wanting to do everything but read and I have been just letting myself flow with it this year. I refuse to force myself to read. I put quality over quantity. I notice when I do that, I end up doing a lot better.

This has been a pretty good reading year for me. I don't think I gave a book less than a 3 stars. This is where the Quality over Quantity has been wonderful for me. We are only 5 months in so hopefully it will stay a pretty good year and I don't have to give many ratings under 3 stars. Preferably, none.
