The book was good. A bit of a slow start for the first half in my personal opinion. It did finally start to pick up for me about mid way through the book. I can say that I liked the characters and laughed quite a bit but I kept comparing it to her Cupcake Bakery Mystery series. I adore the characters in that series and it is also one of the reasons it was hard for me to get into this book.

Hopefully, as I read further into the series, I will be able to fall in love with the characters here as well. I'm not quite sure if it'll be that same kind of love I have for C.B.M., but I can hope for at least something close to it.

I'm not sure when I will get to her others, but I do have at least the first few books in the series on my shelf, so, when I'm ready, I can just pick them up. I do plan on buying the rest soon, maybe when I finish the second book if I go on within the next two months, if not, I still may buy them soon anyway.
