Audio
There isn't a lot I can really say about this audio and the narrator. She helped me get through a book I may not have gotten through on my own, which I guess I'll explain when I give my thoughts on the book itself.

Book:
Maybe I'm just getting bored with YA, I don't know, but I keep feeling like so many are just adding a bunch of fillers in order to have a book. When I feel like many of these books could be a lot shorter than they were.

This book wasn't bad, just hard for me to get through them. It took me some years to read book two after reading the first book. I had some idea why before, but after reading these last two books, I knew. It was because I find them a bit boring. I am at the point now that I want to know what happened, especially after the cliff hanger of this book. I mean, really? That kind of cliff hanger? Yeah, she knew what she was doing! lol

In the beginning, Rose kind of got on my nerves but as I began to understand some things that were happening and going on, she got on my nerves a little less but Christian and Lissa, especially Lissa towards the end, were the ones who got on my nerves. I won't say what made them get on my nerves but yet, there was only one thing that worked my nerves on Christian. Throughout the book, I actually began to like him more. I even began to like Adrian a bit more as the book went on. There is so much more I could say, but I'm afraid it would be spoiler'ish and I know that if I am taking this long to read the series, there are others who haven't. Whether because they were too young when the series came out, people who are just getting into YA and/or people who just had other books to get to before reading it. And I guess there are people too who wait for the whole series to come out before reading it. So, I will just not say much more. :-)

I'm not quite sure when I will go on to the other book in the series but I know that I will just take it book by book from here out.

I had mistakenly bought this book first thinking this was the book I was on when I realized I had no clue what was going on (I know, it had been a while since I read the first one but I still should have had some memory of what was being talked about..right? Well, I didn't). I looked this book up and realized it was book three, so, I had to go back and buy book two. I don't plan on going out of my way to buy the next book in this series. If I happen to find it at my local used book store or at a good price online, I may get it then.
